Hello lovely visitor, I’m so glad you’re here.

I am Britt, a Norwegian living in the UK for nearly three decades, and I am very thankful that I get to do what I enjoy the most: painting and encouraging others to be creative.

I am a mixed media artist working with acrylics as my main media. My aim for everything I create is to bring beauty, joy and to be uplifting, whether paintings, photographs or tutorials.

As well as loving to paint, l enjoy music, gardening, travel and taking photos of flowers, trees and sunsets.  A lot of my inspiration comes from being in nature, enjoying God’s creation.

I am blessed with two amazing grown-up children, one gorgeous granddaughter & live in Berkshire, England with my lovely husband Mark.  Although the UK has been my home for nearly 30 years, you will often find me on the island of Bjorøy in Norway, where I enjoy beautiful views whilst visiting family.  As we say in Norway: Koselig!

My background as a Norwegian sign-language interpreter and my love for travel has taken me to many various places around the world.  I have been fortunate to visit more than 50 countries before the age of 50; now my aim is to visit 100 countries before I am 100. 😊

I am passionate about uplifting and empowering others to be creative and have been involved in providing workshops and creative spaces for a wide variety of individuals and groups over the last two decades.  Having experienced freedom and healing through art myself, I am now on a quest to uncover the fun and beauty in releasing people into their individual creativity.

My happy place is my art studio in the garden; my place to play, pray & paint.  You will soon be able to join me for some tutorials on line; it's a work in progress.
